About the Event
Combining CCTV footage, subterranean sewer cams, and intimate vignettes of the people who keep the city clean, In Excess traces the journey of Philadelphia’s trash as it flows onto a surprising global path. Along the way, it reveals hidden ecosystems of waste management and the unexpected ways discarded materials resurface long after they’ve been thrown away. (Melissa Langer, USA, 2025, 70 min.)
